Sabi River Golf Club, situated on the banks of the Sabi River, this course was originally built by local farmers in the early 1960's. Golf data redesigned the course and in 1998 all the greens were regrassed with a Country Club Grass.
The Sabi River Golf Club's attractive layout and scenic beauty, makes use of the natural features of the area. Abundant water has played its part in the construction of this course, as 13 of the holes have water features.
Rolling riverside terrain, indigenous trees and local vegetation have all been incorporated into the Sabi River Golf Course. One of the most popular attractions on the course is the hippo and crocodiles in the large dam adjacent to the 16th and 17th holes.
Set among mature indigenous trees and cradled between the hills of the Sabi escarpment, the Sabi River Golf Course is a must for the avid golfer.
